The Khalistan Referendum in Washington DC became a historic day as over 16,500 Sikhs lined up to cast their votes for freedom. This overwhelming turnout is not just a show of unity, but also a clear rejection of the Indian government’s decades of lies, repression, and brutality against Sikhs.

For years, the Indian state has tried to silence the Sikh voice through censorship, intimidation, and violence. But today, the world witnessed that Sikhs are unshaken. Despite India’s propaganda and attempts to brand our democratic struggle as unlawful, Sikhs across the globe are using the ballot to send one message loud and clear: we refuse to live under India’s dictatorship, and we will continue our fight for Khalistan.

This Referendum is a democratic answer to India’s injustice. Every vote cast in Washington DC is a slap on the face of the Indian government’s denial of Sikh rights. And this is only the beginning—on March 11, 2026, in Seattle, Sikhs will once again raise their voices for Khalistan.
