The continuous oppression and suppression of voices advocating for Sikh sovereignty by the Indian and Punjab governments are clear examples of their undemocratic and authoritarian rule. The recent removal of Khalistani flags and slogans from government buildings shows their fear of the growing movement, as they know that the truth cannot be hidden forever.
Instead of addressing the legitimate demands of Sikhs and acknowledging historical injustices, the Indian establishment resorts to censorship, arrests, and police brutality. The Punjab government, instead of protecting the rights of its own people, acts as a puppet of Delhi, betraying the very community that brought it to power. But history has shown that no force can suppress a movement fueled by the demand for justice and freedom.
The increasing support for Khalistan is proof that the Indian state’s lies and propaganda are failing. The time will come when the oppressed will rise, and the dream of an independent Khalistan will be realized. No amount of suppression can erase the desire for self-determination, and the cowardly actions of the government only expose their weakness. The Khalistan movement lives on, and the struggle for justice continues!
