As members of the Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar, we understand the importance of raising our voice with courage and clarity, but also with discipline and peace. In the United States, leaders like Charlie Kirk represent a strong and unapologetic voice in public debate. Whether one agrees with him or not, he embodies the principle that speech—not violence—is the foundation of democracy.

Political violence is never a solution. It silences dialogue, divides communities, and weakens the very causes it claims to defend. Every act of aggression takes us further away from justice and closer to chaos. Leaders, activists, and ordinary citizens alike must reject violence as a tool and instead embrace open debate, persuasion, and the ballot box.

Supporting Charlie Kirk in this moment is not about partisan politics—it is about defending the right of all people to speak freely without fear of intimidation or attack. If one side is silenced today, the other may be silenced tomorrow. Violence creates a cycle that only benefits those who thrive on division.

As SAD Amritsar members, we know from our own history that peaceful resistance carries more power than any weapon. Words, ideas, and movements built on truth will always outlast those built on fear. Let us stand firm: no matter our political differences, we must unite in rejecting political violence and protecting the freedom of speech that sustains democracy.
