On November 2nd, Khalistan supporters will gather to peacefully protest outside the Consulate General of India in Auckland, New Zealand. This date holds immense significance as we remember the countless innocent lives lost in the 1984 anti-Sikh massacres, an event that remains etched in the hearts and minds of Sikhs worldwide. Despite efforts to erase the memories of this dark chapter, we stand resilient in our pursuit of truth, justice, and remembrance.

In 1984, thousands of Sikhs were killed, millions were displaced, and our places of worship were desecrated. Families were torn apart, communities shattered, and an entire generation bore witness to unimaginable horrors. The atrocities committed were not isolated incidents but part of a systematic campaign aimed at silencing the Sikh community’s quest for justice and sovereignty. This massacre, dismissed by some as “riots,” was, in reality, an organized genocide aimed at extinguishing our identity and spirit.

The Consulate General of India represents a government that has consistently denied justice to the victims and survivors of 1984. By gathering outside this building, now symbolically known as “The Terror House,” we send a powerful message to the world that the Sikh community will not forget, nor will we forgive, until justice is served. Our protest on November 2nd is a reminder that the Khalistan movement is rooted not in division but in the right to self-determination, freedom, and dignity.

Let us come together at 12:00 PM to show solidarity and honor the memory of those lost. Our presence will not only pay tribute to the victims but also inspire future generations to continue the fight for justice. Khalistan Zindabad!
