Punjab is facing a severe natural disaster, yet the government continues to sleep. Floods have devastated farmers’ crops, submerged homes, and displaced families. Due to the government’s negligence, immediate relief has not reached the people.
Our party president, Simranjit Singh Mann, personally walked through the flooded villages, met the affected people, listened to their pain, and inspected the damage in the fields. This is what true leadership looks like — standing with the people, not hiding in air-conditioned offices.
We demand that the government take full responsibility and provide urgent assistance to all flood victims.
Our demands:
- Immediate financial compensation to all flood-affected families
- Assessment of destroyed crops and provision of seeds, fertilizers, and labor support to farmers
- A full inspection of the drainage system and flood protection structures
