As a proud member of Shiromani Akali Dal, I cannot remain quiet while my Sikh brothers and sisters continue to face targeted injustice, surveillance, and discrimination under the current Indian regime. Time and again, our people have raised their voices peacefully โ€” through protests, parchar, and seva โ€” only to be met with police raids, arrests without trial, and media silence.

What crime have we committed? That we want to preserve our identity, our faith, and our history? That we remember 1984? That we speak up when our youth are picked up without warrants or when peaceful gatherings are branded as threats?

The recent seva camp and awareness march organized by Akal Dal Waris Punjab De reflects the communityโ€™s strength and unity. From food distribution to medical aid, our volunteers continue the legacy of selfless service โ€” even while many of our leaders remain behind bars. The posters of Bhai Amritpal Singh Khalsa serve not as propaganda, but as reminders of those who sacrificed comfort for truth.

India claims to be the worldโ€™s largest democracy โ€” but what kind of democracy fears a turban, a kirpan, or a slogan of justice?

We will continue to speak, peacefully and firmly. Not out of hate โ€” but out of love for our people, our rights, and our future.
