A Call for Unity and Upholding Sikh Values

I am writing this statement in alignment with the profound and unwavering stance expressed by Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann, whose vision for the Khalsa Panth remains rooted in the principles of Miri-Piri and the supremacy of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. It is my firm belief that instead of attempting to consolidate factions tarnished by betrayal and corruption, the entire Khalsa Panth must come together under the divine and universal principles of Sikhism.

In recent times, it has been disappointing to witness convicted and morally compromised leaders defying the orders of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, manipulating institutions like the SGPC, and exploiting the Sikh Panth for their personal gain. These leaders, who have betrayed the trust of the Sikh community, have no ethical or moral right to hold positions of leadership—political, religious, or social.

I echo Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann’s call for action. He rightly pointed out that the Khalsa Panth cannot tolerate such divisive and anti-Panthic actions. It is time to reject these individuals and their harmful agendas. Instead, the focus must shift toward collective unity—bringing together Sikh leaders and groups under the guidance of Sri Akal Takht Sahib to restore the strength and dignity of the Panth.

The establishment of a council representing all Sikh factions under the principles of Miri-Piri would not only unify the community but also prepare us to effectively challenge adversaries like the RSS, BJP, and others who aim to destabilize Punjab and suppress the Sikh identity.

I strongly condemn the ill-treatment of Sikh women and honest individuals such as Bibi Satwant Kaur, whose targeting by the authorities reveals the oppressive intentions of both the central and Punjab governments. These actions demonstrate their willingness to malign and undermine the Sikh community, further dividing and destabilizing Punjab. Such behavior must be met with firm resistance by the entire Khalsa Panth.

The SGPC, which was founded to uphold Sikh values, must return to its impartial and principled mission. As of now, its alignment with partisan agendas has only weakened the Panth and created distrust within the community.

I call upon the governments to recognize that Punjab is not an experimental ground for political manipulations. It is essential to promote peace and uphold democratic principles. Failure to do so will only lead to dire consequences, for which the central and Punjab governments will bear full responsibility.

Let us take inspiration from Simranjit Singh Mann’s leadership and work toward rebuilding the unity of the Khalsa Panth under the supreme principles of Miri-Piri. Together, we can overcome these challenges and restore the dignity, strength, and sovereignty of the Sikh Panth.
